What this guy does to build this hut is nothing short of EPIC!
This tiny hut was built using only primitive tools and materials. It was built, not as a survival shelter but an experiment in primitive building technology.
The hut was built and inspired by the Korean Ondol or “hot stone” method. A small kiln was built of mud from the ground and a perforated floor of clay from the creek bank with walls made of clay, mud and stone with a front swinging door made of sticks. Roof and ridge tiles were made from clay pressed into rectangular molds made from strips of lawyer cane.
An underfloor heating system was also built into one side of the hut to act as a sitting/sleeping platform in cold weather.
