Great news! Renewable energy just took over fossil fuel for the first time in history!
In 2013, the world passed a milestone in that we began adding more renewable, clean energy sources than fossil fuel ones. The price of both solar and wind power continues to plumet, as we keep developing better and more efficient degigns.
People realized that leaving their fuel in the hands of a few is not wise and that generating your power at home is ideal.
According to Scientific American, wind, solar and other forms of renewable energy could be the fastest growing power sources over the next few decades and will continue to expand.
3D technology, is now allowing solar panels to be printed, thus radically increasing efficiency and reducing production costs by as much as 50 percent.
In fact, using this 3D technology, it is now possible to print photovoltaic cells the size of an A3 sheet of paper (11.5 X 16.5 inches), at a rate of 32 feet a minute, or one photovoltaic cell of this size every 2 seconds! Simply amazing!

At the Victorian Organic Solar Cell Consortium in Melbourne, Australia is leading the way in this broundbreaking technology.
